Protected access
Internet users have free access to all public pages of Vitality ("Insurer Vitality Partners"). In addition to these common areas there are protected areas, these are reserved for particular user groups. These areas require a user log in. Since the accessible data in these areas may be worth protecting, a careful handling of the necessary information for log in (esp. Passwords) is indispensable
Password Handling
A good password should be at least 8 characters long. It should contain names or words. In addition to letters it should contain numbers and special characters. It should be changed on a regular basis and not be stored on your PC or in your browser.
Transmission of sensitive data
If you open pages within our internet site that offer data entry and you are prompted to enter information about yourself and submit, we will use SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer) with a key length of at least 128-bit to send this data. Up to date, no possibilities for the analytical decryption of such a 128-bit encryption are known.
